Family Garden - East Grinstead

This family home had a classic patio, with rough surfaces, a tired white picket fence and functional stairs. This family wanted to refresh their space and match it to their interior floor. We found a close matching porcelain tile, raised the height slightly to reduce trip hazards into the home, replaced planters, steps, and made a secure bespoke gate for added security for the younger members to be safe in their garden. Whilst transforming it into a beautiful living space. Perfect for playing, BBQs and enjoying the garden. They'd also suffered with drainage issues, we ensured the new patio would drain efficiently and evenly across the lawn area.

Full Garden Transformation - Oxted
This project was great to work on. From our initial designs, discussion with the client and the final product we couldn't be prouder. Working with new contacts regarding the pergola, our trusted sub contractors on all of the lighting and our drainage setup will keep this space usable throughout most of the year.
Regarding ageing, this is designed to minimise deterioration by using composite decking, porcelain tiles and gravel that'll minimise the growth of weeds and moss.
This client, was a treat to work with and we've even recently returned to complete the front of her property to match up with the rear.

This small patio replaces a very tried out deck, as it is located next to large oak trees the traditional slippery wooden deck didn't get a chance to dry. However, now her new porcelain patio and much more effective draining setup will allow her to easily maintain, safely walk and enjoy more of the garden throughout the seasons.
This choice of surface works well in expanding the feel of the smaller garden and giving a brighter surface to compensate for the shadows caused by the big oak trees.

Easy to Maintain - East Grinstead
This project was a simple goal. Make this now unloved garden that has become hard to maintain a makeover, a fresh start and most importantly easy to maintain and enjoy.
Although the little pond brought a lot of wildlife it also flooded the garden around it. The rest of the garden had remains of old tree stumps, and bushes. It had become very uneven throughout the lawn and cutting the grass was a challenge. The patio was also even and the steps to the grass were falling apart.
Chris and his team setout their plans to the client who was very happy with the plan for a larger patio space, clean simple canvas to begin to make their new home their own.

Extend Patio and Wall - Forest Row
This customer had just had their extension completed and wanted to bring their garden in line with an extended patio, reinforced retaining wall and making a feature of their beautiful tree.
We worked closely with this customer and throughout the project had further ideas of how to enhance the space, capture the sunlight and make sure their home will have the most use of their beautifully established garden.
This is a great example of how we can take care of your existing garden. With meaningful plants, trees and bushes we carefully worked around these and ensured their garden was still the beautiful meaningful space it had been but now far more usable.

Raised Patios, Fences and Boarders - Crowborough
Before: This garden was a patchwork of three disparate patios, each with its own unique challenges: varying ages, materials, heights, and sizes. It was a space with potential, but lacked cohesion and functionality.
After: Our transformation has created a spacious, unified patio area where our clients can fully enjoy the sunshine. The once fragmented outdoor space is now a harmonious extension of their home. Their cats have already claimed their territory, relishing the new, inviting environment.
We opted for a Project Pack style Indian Sandstone throughout, complemented by fresh brickwork and thoughtfully designed steps that seamlessly connect the patio to the rest of the garden.
The project was finalised with the installation of a new close board fence topped with trellis, adding privacy and an elegant finishing touch.

Modern Outdoor Living Space - Tunbridge Wells
Before: This garden was boggy, tufty / patchy grass that felt very uninspiring space.
Our lovely customer, Jeevan, was fantastic, we communicated together and we were able to create the outdoor room she'd imagined (alongside inspiration from our Oxted project)
We created a two tone porcelain patio separated by tall white plastered brick planters. Perfect for adding grasses and bringing life and colour that is easy to maintain and keep looking beautiful and tidy. Always ready to host guests regardless of the weather.
We installed the grey aluminium pergola with closable roof and kept with the modern theme by installing venetian fences all around the garden.

I cannot recommend the Agile team highly enough. Chris, the whole Agile Landscape team were extremely professional from our initial meet to the end of the project. They delivered an amazing garden, their attention to detail and quality of finish was excellent. The finished garden was exactly what I wanted, I would not change anything.
The Agile team were always punctual and always provided open lines of communication throughout the whole project. The works entailed, removing all the turf and old slabs, cementing/concreting, building 2 large planters, new fencing throughout the garden, building a Pergola, building a new garden gate and laying porcelain slabs
