Hard Landscaping Assistant

We are expanding our team and an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Hard Landscaping Assistant to join Agile Landscapes.
Agile Landscapes, based in Forest Row, East Sussex, is a successful and fast-growing garden landscaping company passionate about delivering projects to a high standard, on time, and within budget for our clients across Sussex, Surrey & Kent.
The Hard Landscaping Assistant will work closely with and provide support to the Foreman or experienced hard landscaper. This role is ideal for a proactive individual eager to develop their skills, learn on the job, and contribute directly to the construction of high-quality, bespoke installations.
Duties:

Support the foreman and experienced hard landscaper in all day-to-day construction and installation works to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard.

Ensure all tools, materials and plants are taken to site when required.

Ensure that the van is kept clean and tidy with a full set of tools.

Reporting any problems immediately.

Communicate effectively with foreman or experienced landscaper to ensure the smooth and timely progression of jobs, highlighting issues that arise.

Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

Attend staff meetings.
You will need:

Positive attitude is essential

Some practical experience in construction or landscaping (e.g., paving, basic groundwork, fencing

To be diplomatic and calm with clients.

Professional attitude towards work and working with other team members

Full clean UK driver’s license is essential..

Excellent starting salary of £18,000 - £23,000 (dependent on experience).
