Lighting - Day turns to Night…
A crucial element of the project was to create a space that could be enjoyed into the evening. We designed and installed a bespoke lighting scheme to achieve this. Uplighters highlight the architectural form of the 100 year old olive tree we planted, while subtle step-lights have been fitted to act as a guide up and down the steps. Throughout the planting, lights have been strategically placed to show off this feature at night.

Going down onto the luscious lawn area, there would be two ways to access this. A grand central staircase descending from the patio, or by following the private, quaint sleeper steps that descend down the whole edge of the garden.
All of this creates a luxurious route to the inside pool on the final tier of the garden.
We are so proud of this project and thrilled with how pleased the clients are with the space. It has been transformed into a sanctuary that they will be able to enjoy and be proud of.
Living Architecture
Our client’s focus for the planting on their project was hardy and easy-care providing all-year-round interest. We fulfilled this by focusing on a mixture of hardy shrubs and grasses. A lot of the shrubs chosen, for example the Hebe and Abelia, flower at different times of year, bringing colour and interest to the space. Even without the flowers, the foliage itself on the shrubs and grasses gives the garden vibrancy. Perhaps the most striking feature is the Olive tree which we have carefully integrated into the patio to give a Mediterranean effect in the garden. The list of plants used has been

Key Features & Finishing Touches

To create shelter and privacy over the dining space on the patio, we installed a powder-coated aluminium gazebo. We love the way it brings a modern twist to the design and complements the porcelain beautifully. Providing shade in their south-facing garden and also privacy when dining with friends and family.
We always use the most premium products and are huge fans of these aluminium gazebos. Two particularly useful aspects of the gazebo is firstly the louvred roof. This means the roof slats can be tilted so they are either open or closed.
Secondly, the sides of the gazebo can be lowered, both of these functions enable the space to be enjoyed rain or shine.
The result is a garden that feels both grand and intimate, perfectly balancing classic structure with the wildness of nature.
It now stands as a true partner to the Edwardian architecture, offering a seamless transition from historic elegance to luxurious, contemporary outdoor living, day or night.

Tunbridge Wells Tiered Garden
For this project we were tasked with creating a tiered outdoor space to ease the sloping nature of the garden. The property itself is a Georgian house and our clients were keen on creating a classy, outdoor space with a modern twist, ideal for socialising with friends or just relaxing.
The thought process behind the three zones took into account how the clients wanted to use the space. They outlined that they wanted to have a transitional space from their inside living area to their outside space. This porcelain patio would facilitate a sheltered dining area on one side and an open lounging area on the other.
Versatile for socialising and relaxing with the family.
